You and your family are invited to Saluki Family Weekend at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, September 26, 27 & 28, 2008. The weekend features many traditional events as well as new ones designed to provide you and your family a fun-filled weekend. The students, faculty and staff at SIUC have spent many hours planning events to ensure you have a wonderful time in Carbondale and develop memories that will last a lifetime. Family members of students are invited to tour and use the Student Recreation Center facilities for FREE. Please visit the information desk located on the upper level for details. A current SIUC student with ID must accompany family members.

Stop by the Saluki Family Weekend Registration Area to sign in and get the latest update of weekend events. Students and their families can register to win various door prizes and free refreshments will be available. Sponsored by the Student Programming Council Special Events Committee.

Members of and those interested in the Saluki Family Association are invited to join us for a delicious Southern brunch and welcome program hosted by the Saluki Family Association.
The menu consists of Vegetarian Quiche, Scrambled Eggs w/Cheese, Bacon, Shredded Hash Browns, Fresh Fruit, Muffins, Croissants w/Butter & Jelly, Petite Danish, Biscuits w/Assorted Jelly, Coffee, Orange Juice, Apple Juice and Hot Tea.
Tickets purchased in advance are $12.00 for adults, $11.00 SIUC students and seniors (age 60 and older) and $6.00 for children (age 5 to 10). Ages 4 and under are free.

Visit Campus Lake and take advantage of FREE boat rentals including: paddle boats, canoes and rowboats (weather permitting). A current SIUC student with a student ID must accompany family members.

Members of SIUC Greek fraternities and sororities perform some of their favorite tunes in this fun and spirited competition. Rain Location is in the Student Center. Sponsored by the Inter-Greek Council.
