Craft Shop Hours (including Retail, Frame Shop and Paint Bar):
Fall and Spring Semesters:
Monday – Friday: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
The Craft Shop closes at 5:00 pm on Fridays before University breaks (Spring Break, Thanksgiving Break) and end of semesters.
Summer Semester Hours:
Monday - Friday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Ceramics Studio Hours:
Fall and Spring Semesters:
Monday and Friday: 10:00 am –8:45 pm, Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (unless occupied by a scheduled workshop or group activity.)

Wood Shop Hours:

The Craft Shop is your source for all things crafty. We offer classes, workshops, volunteer or community service activities, and private lessons in music, ceramics, fibers, painting, framing, woodworking and much, much more. We carry a variety of crafting tools and supplies for students, classes, instructors, hobbyists, and/or anyone interested in making something.

As part of SIUC's Student Center, the Craft Shop is commited to serve students, faculty/staff and the general public by offering a wide variety of educational opportunities, services, lessons, and products. The Craft Shop is a service to the community, offering charitable workshops and activities for all ages. We stress leadership, ethics, ingenuity, and creative problem-solving in everything we do. With these things in mind, we will provide a safe and healthy environment for our patrons to become knowledgeable artisans and to help individuals hone their creative skills.
Saluki Spokes: Bike Self Service Repair Station
The Craft Shop is supplied with basic materials and tools so that you can fix your own bike. The tools are free to check out. Supplies are available to get you back on the road and to keep you in the green, and healthy.
