The Craft Shop is your source for all things crafty. We offer classes, workshops, volunteer or community service activities, and private lessons in music, ceramics, fibers, painting, framing, woodworking and much, much more. We carry a variety of crafting tools and supplies for students, classes, instructors, hobbyists, and/or anyone interested in making something.
Craft Shop Hours
Fall and Spring Semesters:
- Monday – Friday: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm
- Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Sunday: Closed
Summer Semester Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
- Saturday/Sunday: Closed
Location
The Craft Shop is located in the Student Center on the campus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Located next to the Big Muddy Room on the lower level, South end of the Student Center, the facilities and workshops are open to SIUC students, faculty, staff and members of the community.
The Craft Shop is handicap accessible. For elevator entry, take the mack elevator across from the Roman Room on the first floor to the basement (B) level, a turn left down the hall past the Story of Little Egypt display. If you need help finding us, don’t hesitate to call us at 618.453.3636.
