PRESS RELEASE: We Have a WINNER!!
WE HAVE A WINNER!
The Student Center Open House last Thursday started the fall semester with lots of giveaways and prizes. The winner of the Huffy bike for Scavenger Hunt Bingo was Damon Taylor, a sophomore in Mass Communications.
The Shadow notebook also made its debut at the giveaway table. The four subject notebook was given away free to all SIUC students and highlights the division of Student Affairs. The cover, designed by Student Center graphics designer Nathan Bonner, has received national recognition from the company. Notebooks will continue to be available to students at various locations throughout the building.
Another sought-after giveaway was the Student Center refill cup which enables the owner to buy soda refills at Market Place and McDonald’s in the Student Center for only 25 cents plus tax throughout both fall 2007 and spring 2008 semesters. While there is a limited quantity available, cups can still be picked up at the Student Center ID Office while supplies last.
