2007 Sunset Concert Series,
29th Season begins Thursday, June 14
The summer of 2007 will be the 29th season of Carbondale’s Sunset Concerts Series. The City of Carbondale, the Carbondale Park District, The SIUC Student Center and the SIUC Student Programming Council sponsor this highly popular series.
The first concert will begin at 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 14 on the Steps of Shryock Auditorium and feature Latin Rock artists, Rico.
The series will continue every Thursday for seven concerts. Concert locations alternate each week, between the Steps of Shryock Auditorium on the SIUC campus and Turley Park, on Carbondale’s west side. The concerts are free and open to all.
The responsible use of alcohol is permitted in designated areas, however for the safety of all, no glass bottles, no kegs, no pet and no solicitation will be allowed. Also Underage-drinking laws will be strictly enforced.
